This article provides step-by-step instructions for connecting and managing the integration between Shopify™ and Descartes® Marketplace Connector. Follow the steps below to set up the connection, synchronize products and orders, and configure fulfillment and inventory updates, ensuring smooth operation between the two platforms.

Get Connected

1. Log in to Descartes Marketplace Connector.

2. Go to the App Store in Shopify. Find the app Peoplevox Warehouse Manager.

3. Install Peoplevox Warehouse Manager. This will take you into Descartes Marketplace Connector to set up the eCommerce integration.

4. Set up a Unique Integration Name.

5. Descartes Marketplace Connector displays the Marketplace Connector Store Label as the source of the order.

6. Click Next.

7. Select Warehouse to Connect to Shopify. If no warehouse exists, click Add Warehouse to set up the new site.

8. Map the Shipping Services. Auto-generate usually works, but you may need to fine-tune.

9. Click Next.

10. Set Up the sync:

    • Catalog (products): If the quantity is tracked in Shopify, inventory is carried from Shopify on the initial product sync.

    • Inventory: Syncs from Descartes Marketplace Connector to Shopify, only.

    • Sales Orders

    • Order Fulfillment: Includes package details for the order.

    • Add Emails for Alerts
