The events that trigger communication back to Shopify™ from Descartes® Marketplace Connector are explained below.

Picking an Order

• Picking an Order creates a Fulfillment, which can be sent to a shipping platform

• When the shipping label is printed:

  • Descartes Marketplace Connector is updated

  • The Fulfillment is marked as shipped

  • The Order is updated

  • Shopify is updated

You may enter the shipping information manually on the Fulfillment page. Once marked as shipped, Shopify is updated.

Adjusting Inventory Values Manually

Adjusting Inventory values manually:

• Causes the Inventory values to sync

• Queues the Product to sync back to Shopify for any Inventory adjustment, such as receiving the Purchase Order, picking, cycle counts, etc.
  

Please note:

• If you have multiple Shopify stores, ensure that each store has a unique prefix and suffix. See Synchronizing Data between Shopify and Descartes Marketplace Connector and Adding Products for details on specifying prefixes and suffixes.

• Descartes Marketplace Connector can send email alerts automatically for application errors and warnings.
